ColorBarSD is a Safe Place for everyone. All people are welcome and respected. If you feel in danger or are threatened, please step inside ColorBarSD and you will be protected until you feel safe to leave or we will help you arrange for additional help.
This policy is in effect until further notice. The following policy is provided to protect everyone, clients and employees, at ColorBarSD. Failure to abide by this policy will result in your removal from the ColorBarSD establishment, the loss of any deposit, and possibly the inability to return to the salon.
If you have had an ongoing fever, headache, runny nose, cough, sore throat for more than a day, test for COVID.
Whether COVID, cold, cough, or flu, reschedule your appointment for a minimum of five (5) days from the original appointment day to help prevent your Stylist and others in the salon from falling ill and being forced to take time off work.
If you insist on coming in with symptoms, be considerate - let your Stylist know you have been ill so they can choose to protect themselves with a mask. But you really should reschedule your appointment.
• Wearing a mask is optional for everyone in the salon.
• You may request a disposable mask when you come to the salon. • You may request your Stylist wear a mask for any reason. • If you wear a mask into the salon your Stylist will follow suit and wear a mask during your service. • If your Stylist is wearing a mask when you arrive, they may offer you a mask to protect yoursef, it is still optional for you. • Stylists are not permitted to come to work with COVID and are tested if they exhibit symptoms or have children at home with COVID to insure a safe environment for everyone.• Parent with sick children, please reschedule your appointment.
• Live in a household with sick children, please reschedule your appointment. • If you keep your appointment please wear a mask. If you don't have a mask, we have one for you. • Do not bring sick children into the salon. • Especially do not leave sick children in the car.Working as a Caregiver or simply have charge of another person, family, friend while they are in need of care, you understand the importance of keeping everyone safe and healthy.
• If your charge has COVID, cold, cough, flu, etc., reschedule your appointment.
• If you insist on keeping your appointment, wear a mask and notify us when you arrive so we may take necessary precautions to protect our team and other guests.COVID is still dangerous and spreading. Please use common sense general hygiene rules we all should have learned in life.
• Wash your hands after using the toilet and before eating. • Wash hands for 20-seconds. • If you cough or sneeze into your hands, wash them or sanitize them immediately. • If you have to cough or sneeze, use a tissue or use the crook of your elbow to cover your mouth and ovoid contaminating your hands.Wearing masks is optional for everyone unless person is displaying symptoms of illness (runny nose, coughing, sneezing, etc.) then you must wear a mask if you are already in the salon.
If you are exhibiting symptoms of any illness prior to your appointment, please call to reschedule your appointment for a minimum of seven (7) days from your existing appointment.
Please do not come to the salon if you are exhibiting symptoms of any illness.
If you are a parent with children and your children are ill, please call to reschedule your appointment. Do not bring sick children to the salon and if you are home with a sick child please do not come to the salon.
If you are taking care of family members or any one else while they are ill please do not comet to the salon.
Wash your hands after using the toilet, before eating, and if you cough/sneeze into your hands (follow the 20-second hand-washing rule). You can also use the sanitizers you’ll find around the salon.
Cough/sneeze into your sleeve, preferably into your elbow. If you use a tissue, discard it properly and clean/sanitize your hands immediately.
If you find yourself coughing/sneezing on a regular basis, avoid close physical contact with others and take extra precautionary measures.
